14 January 2009 - ESA Signs Training Contract with Total Tractebel Emirates O&M Co.

On January 14, 2009, Emirates Simulation Academy (ESA) signed its first training contract with Total Tractebel Emirates O&M Company. The contract is to provide technical training for Emirati plant personnel of Al Taweelah A1 Power and Desalination Plant in Abu Dhabi. The contract was signed between Mr. Jerome Malek Jeanbart, General Manager of Total Tractebel Emirates O&M Company and Mr. Khaled Al Marri, Chairman Alternate of Emirates Simulation Academy and Sector Director of Al Qudra Education. Employees of Total Tractebel Emirates O&M Company will begin the Fundamental Science Course at ESA starting 18 January 2009, followed by various training modules for power plant and water desalination plant operation.
